The Medical School Rostock is establishing a platform for systems biology approaches in medicine and is seeking a Scientific Researcher/Group Leader.

The Medical School Rostock (www.med.uni-rostock.de) of University of Rostock (www.uni-rostock.de) is establishing a platform for systems biology approaches in medicine. To launch its "Systems Medicine" platform, we are seeking a research group leader at post-doctoral level (paid at the E14 group leader salary level). The positions is initially for up to two years, with an immediate
start. The successful candidate has strong background in mathematical modelling & data analysis and has experience with interdisciplinary collaborations. Together with other groups supporting this initiative, the long-term goal is to establish the infrastructure and personell for an independent systems medicine group. It is envisaged that a W1 Junior Professorship in a similar research area will be
advertised soon, for which the future job holder may apply.
