Olaf Wolkenhauer published a book in "Plattdeutsch" - a language spoken by a tiny minority along the coasts of the north and baltic seas. From books and oral dialogues, he collected sentences to be used in short conversations. They reflect the straightforward, practical mentality of traditional inhabitants of northern Germany: "Don't talk too long" (Nich lang schnacken) - just do it!
