Research interest

I'm researching on a better understanding of cancer." For decades the somatic mutation field theory has been dominating research. Meanwhile a movement promoting the tissue organization field theory composed. Here, cancer is thought of being not caused by a mutation of a single gene but as an failure of the organisation of tissue. As I want to understand organizing principles in tissue organisation I'm researching on a possibility to mathematically map the connection and interdependency of "the whole" and "a part" of it - focusing here on cell and the surrounding tissue. Here I apply the ideas of David Ellerman on heteromorphisms which are neglected in traditional category theory.
