How to find us in Rostock

The SBI-Group is located in the "Hanseviertel" area of the city, near the "Ulmenmarkt" From Rostock Main Station the shortest way is to take the train going to Warnemünde to the stop "Parkstrasse" (only a one-stop ride taking about 3 minutes). From there you can enter the campus its backside, it is on the left side of the Arno-Holz-Strasse. The green building is the Auditorium Maximum, standing on the east side of the campus, our building is on the west side.

How to get to Rostock

Rostock is located at the baltic coast in the north-east corner of Germany. With many old towns, beaches, national parks, forests and lakes it is a popular region for holidays. The web-pages of the City of Rostock provide further information as do the web-pages of the University of Rostock, which was founded in 1419.

Rostock airport is one way to get here but there are also many train connections to Hamburg and Berlin (www.berlin-airport.de and www.hamburg-airport.de). Rostock lies also on the route of Euroline busses from and to Denmark, Sweden and Norway
The easiest and fastest way from the airport to the central train station is by using the subway. Upon leaving the baggage reclaim area, follow the subway sign (S-Bahn, a green round logo). The subway leaves directly from inside the terminal and takes 25min to central station. Note, when travelling to the airport, take one of the first three wagons. The subway is part of the railway network, which means that train tickets can be directly booked from and to the airport.

While you will not have problems to get along with English during your stay, most information on the Internet is unfortunately in German.
